So, I couldn't play GW2 for almost 2 weeks..
So, a bit before headstart I purchased the game, played it from the 25th of August, and all was cool ever since... til the 5th or so of September. At that date, I suddenly started getting this every time I tried to log in.
I went to their support site and tried to resolve it - there was a suggestion to re-apply my CD key (which did nothing, as the site didn't accept my CD key again, probably because I already used it), and another suggestion to change my display name. Tried both, neither worked. Also, every time I tried to log into the forums or anything GW2 restricted, I have been getting this. Basically, Arenanet stripped my of a 79.99$ worth GW2 Deluxe access - needless to say no 3rd party program was used with GW2, not to mention cheats (do they even exist for this game?).
So, a day after that I opened a support ticket. If you ever used their support system, you must know how horrible the site is, as you can't see your original question after you post it, and the response history is atrociously formatted. Either way, it took me 2 tries to sucessfully figure it out and submit a good ticket. A few hours later, I get an automated response with suggested solutions. A days later, I get a person, who says they need additional info. I post it, and from that point on - total silence. After 3 days, which are I try to submit a new ticket, this time with all the correct necessary information filled, and everything well-described in the comments. For 6 days now, total silence. Not even an automated response, not a person, nothing.
So, in short, Arenanet stripped me of my game access (and all the time I spent on the game), and now ignores any request for support or clarification. Not that this isn't a ban, I can still access GW1 with that accoutn for example, this is just the game code being randomly removed from the account.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any way to contact them and at least demand a refund?
